Azumo is seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer to develop and enhance our data and analytics infrastructure. The role is fully remote and based in Latin America, with professional English proficiency.

You will collaborate with a dynamic data science team on big data analytics and applied AI, designing and productionizing ML/DL models, including Generative AI, within data pipelines and services.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional Python experience in production environments.
• Strong ML & DL background (CNNs, Transformers, LLMs).
• Hands-on PyTorch experience (training, custom modules, optimization).
• Proven track record deploying ML solutions.
• Expert in pandas, NumPy and scikit-learn.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum practices and tooling (JIRA, Confluence).
• Strong statistics and experimental design foundation.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, train, and validate supervised and unsupervised models (e.g., anomaly detection, classification, forecasting).
• Architect and implement deep learning solutions (CNNs, Transformers) with PyTorch.
• Develop and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) and build LLM-driven applications.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and vector databases integration.
• Build robust production pipelines to deploy models at scale (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
