Job summary

Prometeo Talent is seeking a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) to join a U.S.-based team focused on marketing effectiveness measurement. The role handles large retail datasets, turning raw data into actionable metrics and stakeholder-ready insights.

The ideal candidate has strong SQL and Python (pandas), solid English, and is comfortable building ML models. Open to recent grads or mid-level analysts across LATAM, with remote collaboration across international teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, math, CS, economics, marketing or related field.
• Strong SQL and Python experience for data manipulation and modeling.
• Experience with cleaning, parsing, and structuring data, including text fields.
• Ability to translate technical results into clear summaries for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and run SQL queries from relational databases and cloud warehouses.
• Develop and validate machine learning or statistical models to forecast trends.
• Process raw data to compute household penetration, market share, and trends.
• Build and maintain data tables and dashboards for recurring reports.
• Audit outputs and ensure data integrity before insights are shared.
• Segment data with filtering logic and manage unstructured text data.
• Translate results into clear summaries for English-speaking stakeholders.
