Job summary

Prometeo Talent is seeking a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) to join a client team focused on marketing effectiveness measurement. You will work with large-scale consumer datasets, translate results into clear business insights in English, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

The role is remote from LATAM with varying experience levels, from recent graduates to mid-level analysts. Strong SQL, Python (pandas), and ML basics are required, along with the ability to communicate

Qualifications

• 0 to 4 years of experience in Data Analysis or similar roles.
• Advanced English level (written and spoken).
• Foundational to intermediate SQL with joins and aggregations.
• Python for data cleaning and processing, with pandas experience.
• Familiarity with scikit-learn or statsmodels for ML or statistics.
• Experience handling messy text data and pattern matching.
• Understanding of relational databases and normalization.

Responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and cloud warehouses.
• Develop and validate ML, predictive, or statistical models to uncover insights.
• Slice, unpivot, and aggregate data to compute core metrics like market share and trends.
• Build and maintain clean data tables and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Review outputs, run data audits, and ensure data integrity before insights.
• Use conditional logic to segment data and define tracking cohorts.
• Clean, parse, and categorize unstructured text data.
• Translate technical results into clear summaries for English-speaking stakeholders.
