Job summary

Prometeo Talent seeks a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) to join a U.S.-based marketing effectiveness team. The role involves turning large consumer/retail datasets into actionable metrics, using SQL and Python, and translating results for English-speaking stakeholders.

Open to Recent graduates or mid-level analysts with quantitative backgrounds. Strong English and data manipulation skills are essential, with a remote LATAM-friendly setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with coursework in database management or data analysis.
• Strong SQL skills with complex JOINs, aggregations, and CASE WHEN logic.
• Proficiency in Python for data cleaning, manipulation, and processing (pandas).
• Experience with modeling libraries (scikit-learn, statsmodels) for predictive or statistical tasks.
• Ability to clean, parse, and categorize text data; translate results for stakeholders in English.

Responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries from relational databases and cloud warehouses.
• Develop and validate machine learning or statistical models to forecast trends.
• Aggregate and shape raw data to derive core metrics like market share and purchasing trends.
• Build and maintain data tables and dashboards for recurring reports.
• Review outputs for accuracy and data integrity before sharing insights.
• Segment data using conditional logic to identify tracking cohorts.
• Clean and categorize unstructured text data.
• Summarize technical results clearly for English-speaking stakeholders.
