Job summary

Hire Hangar, Inc. is seeking an experienced SEO Manager to lead local SEO delivery for a portfolio of home‑services clients across the US. This hands‑on role owns GBP optimization, content direction, technical SEO, and link building coordination.

You will work with content, development, paid media, and account strategy teams to execute a clear SEO plan and drive measurable organic growth from multiple locations and service areas. Remote work with US time zone alignment is expected.

Qualifications

3–5 years hands‑on SEO experience, agency or multi‑client environment preferred.
Proven success improving local SEO for service areas (map pack + organic).
Experience improving GBP rankings and local visibility in competitive markets.
Familiarity with multi‑location SEO structures and location expansion.

Responsibilities

Own SEO strategy and execution for a portfolio of home‑services clients (HVAC, plumbing, remodeling, etc.).
Create and maintain SEO roadmaps covering technical, content, local visibility, and GBP optimization.
Develop scalable SEO processes, templates, QA checks, and reporting standards.
Stay current on Google updates, AI trends, E‑E‑A‑T, and local ranking factors.
Coordinate with content, development, and paid media teams to drive growth.
Explain SEO priorities to stakeholders and support delivery.
