Sophilabs is seeking a Database Administrator to maintain and optimize our database environment. The role emphasizes uptime, data organization, security, and disaster recovery in a growing tech setting.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in DBA roles and strong SQL Server knowledge, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and user support. The position supports remote work and professional development opportunities within a collaborative team.

Formación

• 1–2 years of experience in DBA roles or related
• Knowledge of SQL Server

Responsabilidades

• Ensure that the database is up and running at all times
• Work with database software to store, organize, and manage data
• Pre-implement tasks such as feasibility study, capacity planning, installation, and implementation activities
• Configure, design, and develop database models
• Migrate existing data from legacy platforms, design and implement backup and restore strategies, keep databases up to date, and troubleshoot
• Manage database access and ensure databases meet user requirements
• Implement security procedures
• Test and modify databases to ensure reliable operation
• Write disaster recovery plans and archive data
• Provide user training, support, and feedback
• Write reports, documentation, and operating manuals
• Participate in other DBA activities related to database administration
