Job summary

EY seeks a Global Information Security Policy Specialist to strengthen a security-aware culture by translating security requirements into clear policies, education, and practical guidance for technology professionals and the wider EY workforce.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across EY to evaluate requirements, develop practical policy solutions, and present recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences. This role emphasizes governance, risk, and compliance alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security and Assurance, Cybersecurity, Communications, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Five+ years of progressive experience implementing or operating document governance programs or similar roles.
• Five+ years of experience in security compliance, IT risk management, IT audit, or information security assurance.
• Experience drafting information security policies, standards, guidelines, processes, or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a structured global framework for management of information security policies and standards.
• Develop, update, and maintain IS policies with cross-functional teams and international standards.
• Assess policy gaps and align requirements with business needs and industry practices.
• Translate technical input into clear policies for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Communicate IS policy requirements through guidance, presentations, and stakeholder discussions.
• Track and report on IS policy program metrics.
