Qualifications

• Strong experience in NodeJS and Typescript backend development, including ORM and RESTful APIs.
• AI code assistants like GitHub Copilot and Claude Code are preferred.
• Frontend experience focusing on UX and responsiveness.
• Security and privacy expertise: session management, cryptography and token handling.
• REST design patterns, best practices and testing experience.
• MySQL database design, optimization and management.
• Integration design and development with patterns like scatter-gather and circuit breakers.

Responsibilities

• Full Stack Development: build and maintain backend systems and APIs using NodeJS/Typescript and frontend using Typescript.
• Develop and maintain APIs, primarily with Mulesoft, ensuring scalable, reliable services.
• Design and optimize SQL databases, plan migrations with minimal disruptions.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize query performance and backend efficiency.
• Collaborate with design, engineering and product teams to align solutions with business goals.
• Support data flow across systems and contribute to backend reporting capabilities.
