Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Frontend JavaScript Design System Engineer with 7+ years of frontend development experience. The role focuses on building reusable UI components, schema-driven frontend solutions, and pixel-perfect interfaces across frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.

This is a remote position available in Costa Rica or Peru. You will develop automated tests, enforce design system standards, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• 7+ years of frontend software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with React, Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks.
• Ability to adapt to proprietary frameworks and internal ecosystems.
• Proven experience building schema-driven UI components.
• Strong understanding of component architecture and reusable design patterns.
• Advanced knowledge of CSS, SCSS/Sass, Flexbox, CSS Grid, responsive design.
• Experience with automated testing (Jest/Jasmine/Karma).
• Knowledge of DOM lifecycle,SEM, browser rendering and performance optimization.
• Experience with localization and responsive behavior.
• Autonomy in complex technical environments.
• Experience with Git and modern development practices.
• Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reusable, scalable UI components using TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Develop schema-driven frontend solutions for dynamic rendering via configuration.
• Translate UX/UI designs into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces.
• Integrate components across schemas, data pipelines, and CMS platforms.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Adhere to design system standards and frontend best practices.
• Optimize component maintainability and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality UX.
• Navigate complex codebases and contribute high-quality solutions autonomously.
