Job summary

Bridgenext is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong Databricks skills to join a client project. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformations in production environments.

The ideal candidate will work remotely, with eligibility for candidates in Argentina or Colombia. Strong knowledge of Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, and cloud integration is required, along with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on Databricks experience in a production environment.
• Experience designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines with Spark/SQL.
• Knowledge of Delta Lake and Lakehouse design patterns.
• Hands-on with Databricks Workflows or external orchestrators (Airflow).
• Experience integrating Databricks with cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP) and native storage services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes.
• Work with large datasets and distributed data processing.
• Develop and maintain data transformation workflows.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance.
