Job summary

World Business Lenders, Llc is seeking a Data Engineering and Platform Manager to lead the analytics data foundation on Azure and Databricks. You will manage two Team Leads and four Analysts, defining architecture standards and driving scalable data capabilities.

You will own platform reliability, security, cost discipline, and data governance while partnering with product and security teams to deliver high‑impact data solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• Senior manager with 12+ years in data engineering, platforms, or architecture; leading teams.
• Hands-on capability in Azure and Databricks, with production delivery experience.
• Experience designing business-ready curated datasets by working backward from product needs.
• Strong data governance, lineage, and cost management in large-scale environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead two Team Leads and four Analysts, setting priorities and ensuring delivery.
• Oversee data ingestion, transformation, storage, and delivery; align data models with product needs.
• Set architecture standards, modernization priorities, and performance/cost trade-offs.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance across the analytics platform.
• Collaborate with security, infra, and product teams to manage incidents and roadmap items.
