Job summary

Hire Hangar, Inc. is seeking a Data Migration Lead to drive a large-scale migration for a world-leading automotive manufacturer within a global consulting setting.

You will plan, coordinate and control the migration across multiple workstreams, ensuring a reliable transition to the target ERP. The role requires strong data migration methodology expertise, cross-functional leadership, and English fluency for interviews and daily work in UTC hours (9:00–17:00).

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Migration Lead or Team Lead in large-scale programs.
• Strong knowledge of data migration methodology: extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, loading.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple workstreams.
• Ability to define migration controls and risk management strategies.
• Experience with S/4HANA or similar ERP migration programs preferred.
• English proficiency for interviews and daily work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of data migration activities
• Ensure data is accurate, complete, and ready for use in the target system
• Coordinate cross-functional migration teams across workstreams
• Define the data migration approach, methodology and quality controls
• Identify, assess and manage migration risks and issues
• Ensure a smooth and reliable transition with minimal disruption
• Report migration status and progress to senior stakeholders
