Job summary

World Business Lenders (WBL) is seeking a Data Engineer for a contract/consultant role to strengthen data pipelines, migration efforts, and automation across cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with analytics and engineering teams, own data quality, and implement robust ETL/ELT processes using SQL, Python, and modern orchestration tools. This is a fully remote position with EST business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, IS or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 4–7 years as a Data Engineer with modern cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Improved data pipelines with automation and quality checks across the data processing workflow.
• Migration of legacy systems to new platforms with thorough analysis and data transfer.
