Job summary

Entrepreneur Cooperative is seeking a Senior Video Editor to remotely support North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for advertising, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality content for YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in professional video editing, preferably in an agency, media production, or marketing setting.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, plus working knowledge of After Effects and other edit suites.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Fluent English communication skills with the ability to work with U.S.-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns with strong storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to improve engagement (text overlays, logo animations).
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets with structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to improve effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets accounting for internal and client review steps.
