Talan is seeking a Big Data Developer to join a dynamic data team within the Client Contribution platform. You will drive the development, maintenance, and optimization of data processing solutions using Spark, SQL, and modern Big Data environments.

The role requires hands‑on experience with Azure Databricks, EMR, Hive, or Cloudera, along with strong collaboration with technical and functional stakeholders in an Agile setting. English proficiency is required.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional experience in data development and programming.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including ANSI SQL, Hive SQL, Spark SQL, or equivalent.
• Hands‑on experience with Apache Spark and at least one language (Scala, Python, Java).
• Experience with at least one Big Data environment (Azure Databricks, Amazon EMR, Hive, Cloudera, or similar).
• Experience with Qlik Sense and reporting solutions.
• Experience in Agile, Continuous Integration, and DevOps environments.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, Sonar, and Nexus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• English level: B2+ or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL and data transformation processes.
• Develop and maintain Apache Spark‑based data pipelines.
• Contribute to data integration initiatives across the platform.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data‑related issues.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data processing solutions.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Follow DevOps practices throughout the lifecycle.
• Contribute to reporting and analytics solutions using Qlik Sense.
