Placements24 is seeking a creative and user-centric Remote Automotive UX/UI Designer to craft intuitive digital experiences for next-generation automotive products. You will design in-car infotainment interfaces, companion mobile apps, and other digital touchpoints from a fully remote setup.

You will translate complex automotive functions into seamless, user-friendly designs, collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and researchers, and help shape the future of automotive user

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and user-centric Remote Automotive UX/UI Designer to craft intuitive and engaging digital experiences for their next-generation automotive products. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for designing the user interface and overall user experience for in-car infotainment systems, companion mobile applications, and other digital touchpoints. You will translate complex automotive functionalities into seamless, user-friendly designs, working closely with product managers, software engineers, and researchers. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, define user personas, and map user journeys for automotive digital products.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for intuitive user interfaces.
• Design user-centered experiences that enhance driver safety, convenience, and entertainment.
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure feasibility and effective implementation of designs.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system for automotive applications.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance data.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends in UX/UI design, interaction design, and automotive technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer , with a strong portfolio showcasing digital product design, preferably in the automotive sector or complex systems.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design.
• Experience designing for different platforms, including mobile and embedded systems.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
