Alignerr Corp. is seeking an experienced Application Security Analyst (AI Training) for a remote, flexible contract role.

You will analyze real-world security scenarios drawn from code, APIs, and live systems to help frontier AI models learn how to assess, prioritize, and remediate risk, shaping how AI reasons about software vulnerabilities. This freelance position offers autonomy and 10–40 hours per week, with potential for ongoing work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in application security, product security, or software security roles.
• Solid working knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and common production vulnerabilities.
• Ability to evaluate real-world exploitability, not just theoretical exposure.
• Strong written communication skills — you can explain complex security reasoning clearly and concisely.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on async, task-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze real-world application security scenarios spanning code, APIs, and system behavior
• Classify and evaluate vulnerabilities including authentication flaws, injection risks, and business logic issues
• Assess secure coding practices and realistic remediation strategies
• Distinguish genuine exploitability from theoretical risk across diverse attack surfaces
• Help build and validate security-focused reasoning datasets that teach AI to accurately assess software risk
• Provide clear, structured written analysis of security findings and decisions
