Job summary

Outlier seeks a QA coder to review AI-generated code and flag issues using structured guidelines. You will rate model responses across accuracy, following instructions, and presentation, helping to improve AI outputs. You will also craft clear computer science prompts to challenge AI models.

Ideal candidates hold a CS degree, have production-grade software experience, and communicate fluently in English. This is a remote, contract role open to Latin America and beyond.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase, ideally for a technology company.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions — accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write computer science questions: develop clear, well-structured prompts that challenge AI models and push coding ability.
