Job summary

Outlier is building a remote program that lets software engineers contribute to training AI models by reviewing and rating AI-generated code. This is a freelance, 1099 contract opportunity across Latin America, with pay up to $34 USD per hour and additional incentives through Missions.

As a QA Coder, you will review code for accuracy and quality, rate model responses on key dimensions, and write clear prompts to push AI capabilities. Applicants from Argentina are welcome.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken.
• Excellent attention to grammar, punctuation and style.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across accuracy, instructions, and presentation.
• Create clear, well-structured prompts to challenge AI models.
