Job summary
Abstra is seeking an AI-native builder and generalist to lead practical AI adoption across the organization. This hands-on role blends AI engineering, software development, and business process automation to rapidly prototype and productionize high-impact solutions.
Based 100% remote for LATAM with US Pacific Time overlap, you will own from problem framing to deployment, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and establish reusable AI patterns and governance while expanding automation across
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with modern LLMs, APIs, function/tool calling, RAG.
- Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript, APIs, and cloud/container workflows.
- Ability to prototype, iterate, and ship functional software independently.
- Strong collaboration to translate ambiguous requirements into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and maintain internal AI agents and intelligent search tools.
- Automate business workflows with autonomous multi-step actions.
- Extend back-office platforms with AI integrations and data access.
- Automate document review, summarization, and data extraction workflows.
- Design and deploy lightweight internal apps and scripts when needed.
- Provide technical leadership in AI strategy and governance.
- Establish reusable AI infra, tool-calling patterns, and security practices.
- Collaborate with business teams to prototype and deploy AI solutions.
