Job summary

Paper Street Media, LLC is hiring a FULL-TIME Sales Manager to own the affiliate program, terms, and payouts. You will lead partner conversations, negotiate deals, and guide revenue-generating teams in a remote role.

Initially reporting to the VP of Revenue & Growth, you will build an effective business development pipeline, optimize traffic quality, and drive cross-sell opportunities. Strong management and data-driven decision making are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on fluency with AI tooling.
• Solid experience in affiliate, partner, or performance-marketing management with direct ownership of terms.
• Proven track record negotiating and closing partner/affiliate agreements, including payouts and cross-sell terms.
• People management experience, including distributed teams.
• Strong commercial and analytical judgment with data-driven decision making.
• Ability to interrogate data, specify reporting needs, and spot wrong numbers.
• Disciplined cadence for recurring meetings with owners and commitments.

Responsibilities

• Own the affiliate program end-to-end: structure, partner mix, commissions, payouts, cross-sell arrangements, profitability.
• Lead relationship ownership for revenue partners, negotiate terms, review business, and adapt to platform changes.
• Improve traffic efficiency by optimizing conversion, CPA, and prioritizing high-quality partners.
• Build and manage a real business development pipeline and close high-impact deals.
• Scale sales programs through partner management and new business initiatives.
• Lead and develop account managers across regions and time zones with clear ownership.
• Run a disciplined weekly operating cadence with reviews, owners, commitments, and closed loops.
• Own channel scorecards and inputs to quarterly revenue reviews; defend numbers with data.
• Support monthly/quarterly forecasting and variance analysis.
• Document ownership with backups; ensure processes do not rely on a single person.
• Represent revenue channel positions in executive forums; stand in for VP as needed.
• Stay ahead of industry, platform, and regulatory shifts (age-verification, etc.).
• Take on additional responsibilities to support goals.
