JP Morgan seeks a Vice President in the Latin America & Canada Chief Data Office to drive regional adoption of data governance policies across LOBs and entities, ensuring audit-ready documentation and adherence to regulatory expectations.

You will work as an individual contributor, connecting cross-country themes, managing request-driven governance efforts, and coordinating with stakeholders on remediation and policy alignment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 6+ years in risk management, governance, or regulatory compliance.
• Ability to synthesize evidence and challenge interpretations.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Drive implementation of data-related regulatory requirements across LAC entities by developing project plans and gap assessments.
• Maintain auditable records of decisions, approvals, evidence, and remediation status for governance forums and audits.
• Represent LAC in firmwide data governance initiatives and assess regional impacts.
• Exercise independent challenge and due diligence by triangulating evidence and escalating where not defensible.
• Act as a connector across the region by identifying themes, risks, and opportunities to standardize governance execution.
• Coordinate evidence, status updates, and narratives for regulatory exams and audits with stakeholders.
• Foster a strong data culture through training, communications, and targeted campaigns for senior management and teams.
