Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day GL operations, including bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Collaborate with team to analyze account reconciliations and maintain records.
• Prepare and update desktop procedures and capacity files twice yearly.
• Contribute to achieving GL team goals and maintain an auditable documentation trail.

Job description

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The GL Junior Analyst reports directly to the GL Team Lead. The primary function is to contribute meaningfully in supporting the day-to-day GL operations of the organization: Bank reconciliations, Accounts reconciliations, Accounting and Reporting. The junior analyst will work closely alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable insights and hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting.

Job Responsibilities

• Comply with AL Policies and Values.
• Responsible for contributing to achieving the GL Team goals and shared metrics.
• Support and connect with internal leaders and local entities, maintaining a Customer Experience focus.
• Receive, review, and post journal entries received from local teams and other BSC towers.
• Analyze account reconciliations.
• Foster smooth communication processes with all team members and stakeholders.
• Identify improvement opportunities to foster new collaborative initiatives.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Prepare and update Desktop Procedures at least twice a year.
• Prepare and update a Capacity file to list the activities performed and the time dedicated to each of them.

Qualifications

• Education: Students in 3rd or 4th year, majoring in Public Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Knowledge and Skills: Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills; Digital mindset for systems automation and connectivity; Continuous improvement mindset for process improvements; Understanding of financial analysis and statistics; Skills in Google Suite.
• Language Requirements: English: Intermediate - Advanced English; Spanish: Mandatory.
