Job summary

Baker McKenzie is seeking a Rates Analyst to analyze and administer client pricing throughout the lifecycle. You will review agreements, apply rate cards, and ensure accurate billing outcomes across SAP and firm systems.

Responsibilities include data quality checks, onboarding support, and collaboration with Revenue and Billing teams to minimise errors and revenue leakage. English communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Review client agreements, rate schedules and fee arrangements to identify pricing requirements.
• Calculate, validate and quality-check rates for timekeepers, clients and matters for eBilling and non-eBilling.
• Set up and update client, matter and timekeeper rates in SAP and other systems.
• Support onboarding through pricing analysis, system configuration and approval tracking.
• Apply rate cards, discounts and client-specific exceptions accurately in systems.
• Maintain pricing profiles, client documents and records to support billing.
• Investigate rate queries and discrepancies, documenting findings and resolutions.
• Support annual and ad hoc rate reviews, including calculations and approvals.
• Follow procedures and governance to minimise errors and revenue leakage.
• Collaborate with Rates, Revenue, Billing, eBilling, Finance and Client Service teams.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, finance or a related discipline
