AstraZeneca Rare Disease in the Southern Cone seeks a visionary leader to drive the Rare Disease portfolio, shape strategy, and build a high‑performing team across Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Finance and Commercial functions.

You will translate strategy into execution, lead budgeting and portfolio management, and foster a patient‑centric, compliant culture that delivers sustainable value for patients, healthcare systems, and AstraZeneca across the region.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Significant leadership experience in pharma, biotech, or rare disease.
• Experience in Rare Disease, Specialty Care, Immunology, Oncology or related areas.
• Proven success leading commercial organizations and delivering results in complex healthcare settings.
• Strong strategic thinking, planning, and execution capabilities.
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and stakeholder influence.
• Fluent Spanish and advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Define and lead the Rare Disease strategy for the Southern Cone region.
• Develop and execute integrated brand and portfolio strategies.
• Drive portfolio growth, resource allocation, and customer engagement.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Rare Disease Business Unit team.
• Foster cross-functional partnerships with Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Finance, HR and Compliance.
• Ensure compliance with AstraZeneca policies and local regulations.
• Champion patient-centricity and collaborate with patient advocacy groups.
