Descripción de la vacante

Epta is seeking a seasoned Quality Manager to lead the Quality Management System across materials through final release, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, and driving continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes.

You will coordinate internal audits, supplier approvals, and CAPA processes, while overseeing core tools like APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA and FMEA/PFMEA. Strong leadership in Lean initiatives and field audits is essential.

Formación

  • 7+ years in Quality Manager/Supervisor roles in automotive or metal-mechanical industries.
  • Experience with product/line transfer projects is preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead QMS ensuring ISO 9001/14001/45001 compliance across materials to final release.
  • Coordinate internal audits and supplier approvals.
  • Manage root cause methodologies (8D, A3, 5 Whys) and CAPA follow-up.
  • Oversee APQP/PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA/PFMEA implementation.
  • Lead product transfer projects and quality homologation.
  • Manage incoming inspection and calibration of measuring equipment.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives (Poka Yoke, 5S) and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate audits with customers and external bodies; support technical inquiries.

Job Objective:

Lead the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with national and international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement in manufacturing products and processes. Ensure quality from incoming materials through final product release.

Your contribution:
  • Manage the quality documentation and control system in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Coordinate and execute internal audits (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Implement root cause analysis methodologies (8D, A3, 5 Whys) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Oversee implementation and compliance of Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA/PFMEA) in the product.
  • Lead product transfer projects, ensuring process and quality homologation.
  • Supplier approval.
  • Manage incoming inspection and quality assurance for raw materials.
  • Supervise and validate the calibration process of measuring equipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing tools (Poka Yoke, Red Rabbits, 5S).
  • Coordinate quality-related activities for customer audits, certifications, and external audits.
  • Represent the company before customers regarding quality and technical support matters.
  • Generate and analyze quality KPIs to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead Quality activities during field installation
Position Requirements:

Education:

  • Industrial, Mechanical, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field.
  • Preferred: Graduate degree or certification in Quality Management / Lean Six Sigma.

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years in a similar position as Quality Manager or Quality Supervisor.
  • Proven experience in automotive and metal-mechanical industries.
  • Preferred: Experience in product/line transfer projects.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Certification as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Internal Auditor (IATF 16949 preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of statistical quality tools: SPC, Minitab, etc.
  • ERP systems experience (SAP preferred).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel; Power BI preferred).
