Accounting Manager Client Accounting & Advisory Services
Location: Argentina
Work Arrangement: Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time
About Convoy FinanceWe like working with people who move fast, think for themselves, and care about doing great work. That’s pretty much how we run Convoy.
We’re a small finance and accounting firm working with technology, SaaS, fintech and Web3 companies across Canada and internationally. Our clients are ambitious businesses, and we work directly with the founders and finance teams building them.
That means we’re not just looking at numbers all day. We get to see what’s happening inside growing companies and help the people running them make better decisions. One week you might be leading a month-end close, and the next you could be helping a client work through a reporting issue, improve their financial processes or solve something completely new.
We’re a small team, too. Most of us are based in Toronto, with a few people working remotely around the world. There’s very little bureaucracy, decisions happen quickly, and good ideas can actually turn into action.
The OpportunityWe’re looking for an Accounting Manager who can take ownership, think beyond the books and be a trusted partner to our clients.
You’ll oversee accounting work across a portfolio of growing companies and work directly with international clients, founders, CFOs and senior finance professionals .
You’ll be responsible for making sure the accounting is accurate, the work gets done well and client deliverables stay on track. But we also expect you to look beyond the numbers: understand what’s happening in the business, identify issues before they become problems and bring ideas to the table.
This is a hands-on management role. You’ll still be close to the accounting, while also reviewing work, guiding team members, managing priorities and helping clients navigate more complex accounting and finance questions.
Our clients move quickly, and so do we. There will be deadlines, competing priorities and new problems to solve.
As an Accounting Manager, you’ll have significant ownership over your client relationships and the opportunity to grow into broader advisory, financial management and leadership responsibilities .
What You’ll DoYou’ll take ownership of:
Requirements
What We’re Looking ForYou have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field and 5+ years of relevant accounting experience , including significant experience in full-cycle accounting, month-end close and financial reporting , with significant experience in a client-facing accounting, public accounting, audit or advisory environment.
Big Four experience is required for this role. We’re looking for someone who has been exposed to high standards of quality, complex accounting work and demanding client environments, and who is ready to take that experience into a more hands-on, ownership-driven role.
You’re confident owning full-cycle accounting, month-end close and financial reporting , while also reviewing work, managing priorities and ensuring that client deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
You’re comfortable working directly with clients, founders, CFOs and senior finance professionals . You communicate clearly in English and can explain what the numbers mean — not just what the numbers are. This role is 100% in English , both internally and with clients.
You have experience reviewing or mentoring other accountants and are comfortable providing guidance, giving feedback and taking responsibility for the quality of the work delivered by your team.
You’re able to work with at least partial overlap with Eastern Time business hours. Availability from 9am to 6pm Eastern Time is a plus.
Experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Taxprep or CaseWare is a plus, as is experience working with SaaS, technology, fintech or Web3 companies .
A CPA designation or active CPA pursuit is also a plus.
Benefits
Why Convoy? You’ll work with interesting companies, smart people and problems that don’t always come with an instruction manual.
You’ll have direct exposure to founders and senior finance leaders and get to see how growing companies actually operate. Because we’re small, your work is visible and your ideas can have an impact.
We’re remote-friendly, with team members working from Toronto and different parts of the world.
It’s fast-paced. It’s challenging. And it’s definitely not boring.
If you want a role where you can keep learning, take real ownership and grow beyond traditional accounting , we’d like to hear from you.
CompensationWe offer USD 24,000–48,000 per year , depending on experience and qualifications.

Our client is a marketing team that works inside businesses with many locations, such as senior living communities, med spas, dental and healthcare groups, cannabis retailers, and schools. Its clients are in the US and Canada, and they pay a flat fee instead of a percentage of ad spend.
The company runs on Claude and has built its own operating system and client portal. AI agents do most of the production, so a small team can run a lot of client work.
Your Role
As Digital Marketing Director, you're the final decision-maker on 6 to 10 client accounts, across paid media, websites, CRM, and creative. Agents and teammates bring you options, and you pick one, approve it, or send it back with the exact fix.
You report to the CEO and work as a peer to the founders. You'll start by taking over the approval queue on every active account. By day 90, delivery runs without the CEO in the loop, and you've built the tool or process that lets the team take on 5 more accounts with the same people.
Part of the job is building. You'll release features to the internal platform by directing Claude Code: you write the spec, test it on staging, and merge it. You don't need to be an engineer, but you do need to know exactly what you want and check that you got it.
This isn't an account manager role. If you've mostly passed the calls on spend, creative, or pricing to someone else, or you'd rather delegate to a team of specialists, it probably isn't the right fit.
You'll
Run the client relationship with owners, executive directors, and sales teams
Approve Google Ads and Meta builds before launch
Adjust budgets and bids, and cut the search terms that bring no leads
Own conversion tracking across GTM, GA4, and offline imports from the CRM
Direct WordPress rebuilds, then own go-live, redirects, and Search Console
Connect CRMs, call tracking, and forms so each lead can be followed to the sale
Approve client pricing changes, promotions, and policy pages
Sign off on weekly and monthly client reports before they go out
You Bring
7+ years running marketing or growth for clients or at an agency
Final say on a client's ad spend, creative, or pricing, and you can name the decision
Google Ads and Meta campaigns you built and managed yourself
Daily work with Claude or a similar tool, and something real you released through it, like a site, an ad build, an automation, or code
The habit of checking AI output before it goes live
Comfort with tag managers, CRMs, DNS, and webhooks
Near-native English, and confidence saying no to a client on a call
The drive to grow with the company as it takes on more accounts
Bonus Points
Marketing work in senior living, med spas, dental, healthcare, cannabis retail, or education
Experience with industry CRMs such as ALIS, Pagoda, or Dutchie
Advertiser verification, A2P 10DLC registration, or HIPAA and cannabis ad rules handled yourself
WordPress beyond the editor, like themes, plugins, or a staging-to-production deploy
SQL, GitHub pull requests, or Supabase
What's Offered
Fully remote, full-time contractor role from LATAM
Working hours on US business hours
Paid in USD as a contractor. Share the range that fits your level and we'll go from there
Unlimited PTO, used responsibly, and you choose which holidays to take
A direct line to the CEO, with the founders as your peers
Room to grow as the company takes on more accounts
Interview Process
First Call: A 30-minute conversation with atomic HR
CEO Interview: The accounts you've run and the decisions that were yours
Co-founder Interview: How you'd work as a peer, and the final decision
Work Test: Possibly a short exercise, and you'll know how it's judged first
