Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own both manual and automated testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build robust regression suites, investigate failures, and ensure quality across CI/CD pipelines using Playwright and WebDriverIO based tools.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted QA, on-call rotation, and collaboration with product teams to shape testing strategies for a global fintech platform. Fluency in English and strong problem-solving are essential.

• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.

About the job

We’re looking for an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who also takes ownership of manual testing for our desktop and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands‑on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.

Mandatory:

4+ years in QA automation, plus hands‑on manual and exploratory testing experience.

Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (for example, GitHub Actions).

Hands‑on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.

Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.

Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output. Testing AI‑powered applications is a plus.

The Intelligent Contracting Automation team is part of SAP’s Corporate Processes & IT and the Content X Digitalization group. The Intelligent Contracting Automation team is responsible for managing SAP’s contracting templates, contract request forms and template automation. In this role:
+ Monitor the template upload pipeline in our template management tool.
+ Track and manage upload requests through our template management tool and JIRA.
+ Upload documents to the SAP Agreements Website using our content management tool.
+ Ensure exemplary document quality control for each upload.
+ Help with end user support in case of issues with published templates.
+ Contribute to making our tools and solutions more scalable and AI‑based.
