AgileEngine is seeking a QA Automation Engineer in Tucumán to build regression automation scripts, perform manual validation, and ensure software quality across the SDLC.

You will collaborate with product teams, run smoke and performance tests, document outcomes, and contribute to automation strategies using GitHub. 3+ years in software QA and automated testing, plus Gherkin experience, are required.

• 3+ years in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and QE Agentic skills.

Responsabilidades

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined set of criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types to ensure proper behavior of software.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
• Identify and escalate any risk to quality of the product or the process.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and facilitate automated quality practices.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.

MUST HAVES

• - 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
• - 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• - Possess a mindset focused on holistic quality.
• - Experience writing and working with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• - Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• - Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

NICE TO HAVES

• - Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, Postman, JMeter or any other object-oriented based automated testing framework.
• - Experience with testing support functionalities such as GitHub Actions, LambdaTest, SendGrid, Datadog, PagerDuty.
• - Proficiency in SQL.
• - Experience with Ruby on Rails and backend development.
• - Understanding of quality management systems and quality control processes.
• - Background in data-based testing and/or security-based testing.
• - A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant experience.
