Job summary
AgileEngine is looking for a Software Quality Assurance professional with 3+ years in QA and automated testing to ensure high-quality software across Fortune 500 and startup projects. The role emphasizes Gherkin/BBD, prompt engineering, and agentic QA skills; remote and on-site options are available.
You will build regression scripts, manually test, perform various testing types, document results, and collaborate with product teams to improve quality throughout the SDLC.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a software quality assurance role.
- 3+ years in automated testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Holistic quality mindset.
- Experience writing and working with Gherkin for BDD.
- Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
- Experience building Agentic quality engineering skills.
Responsibilities
- Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
- Manually test software for validation and accuracy against criteria.
- Execute smoke, regression, integration and performance tests.
- Record detailed feature behavior documentation.
- Identify and escalate quality risks in the product or process.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
