Avenue Code is seeking a QA Analyst to join a product development team responsible for customer-facing digital platforms, including web and mobile applications. You will plan and execute testing activities, analyze quality outcomes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience.

The current focus is manual testing with opportunities to contribute to test automation, CI/CD practices, and continuous quality improvements across the SDLC.

Formación

• 3+ years of QA/testing experience including web applications.
• Experience in collaborative Agile teams.
• Experience testing large-scale consumer applications.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC.
• Strong knowledge of web-based architectures and technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues in live applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or SE or equivalent.

About The Opportunity

Avenue Code is looking for a QA Analyst to join a product development team responsible for customer-facing digital platforms, including web and mobile applications. In this role, you will help ensure a seamless digital customer experience by planning and executing testing activities, analyzing quality outcomes, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams. The current work focus is primarily on manual testing, with opportunities to support and develop knowledge in test automation and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and evolve the QA strategy for mobile applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage through manual and automated testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to review requirements, define test plans, and prioritize testing activities.
• Analyze testing results to identify trends, recurring defects, and potential quality risks.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve product quality.
• Evaluate existing test automation efforts and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Support the integration of QA processes within CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues on live applications and communicate findings.
• Contribute to QA processes and standards and recommend improvements when needed.
• Stay current with mobile testing tools, trends, best practices, automation strategies, and quality metrics.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing, including testing web applications.
• 3+ years of experience working in a highly collaborative, cross‑functional Agile team.
• Experience testing large‑scale consumer‑facing applications.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong understanding of web‑based software architectures and technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues in live applications.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with internal teams across an organization.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

Nice To Have Skills

• Strong experience analyzing mobile testing efforts and creating detailed test plans and test cases.
• Exposure to test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
• Experience with bug tracking, project/product management, and test management tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Certification in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
