Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid growth. You will design reliable platform services, manage cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and collaborate with engineering and data science teams to keep systems performant and secure.

Comfort with distributed architecture and AI-native tooling matters. The role offers flextime with potential remote work and cross-functional project exposure with Fortune 500 clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year API design and development using REST/gRPC.
• 1+ year AWS and Kubernetes experience, incl. Istio/Linkerd/Cilium.
• 1+ year building advanced architectural components such as service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, etc.
• 6+ months of experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to learn on the fly, and a desire for ownership.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

• Measure, monitor, and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing infrastructure-level improvements.
• Manage cloud resources and service boundaries, ensuring security and operational excellence.

• - 1+ year of experience building advanced architectural components such as service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, federated/polyglot persistence, etc.
• - 6+ months of experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling .
• - 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar .
• - Excellent communication skills, the ability to learn on the fly, and a desire for ownership.
• - Upper-intermediate English level.
