CKH Group is hiring a full-time, Philippines-based Government Accountant to support a single international public-sector engagement for 12 to 14 months, with potential extension and future engagements. You will work with Bisan ERP, U.S.

GAAP and GASB, reconciling ledgers, preparing audit schedules, and helping government staff use the system, under the supervision of a U.S.-based Engagement Manager. This role requires strong Excel, English fluency, and security-conscious remote work from a home

Formación

• At least 1 year of hands-on use of Bisan ERP’s financial modules (journal entries, bank reconciliation, financial reports).
• At least 3 years of accounting experience under U.S. GAAP, including work for U.S.-based clients or offshore teams.
• Working knowledge of GASB fund accounting (governmental and proprietary funds, interfund balances, component units).
• Demonstrated ability to clear reconciliation backlogs and resolve aged or unexplained balances.
• Experience preparing audit schedules and responding to external auditor requests.
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, reconciliation templates).
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Reconcile general ledger balances in Bisan to bank statements, subsidiary ledgers, and third-party support, documenting each reconciliation.
• Clear backlogged monthly and year-end reconciliations, research items, and draft adjusting journal entries with client approval.
• Produce a reconciled year-end trial balance for financial statement preparation and audit.
• Collaborate with government-owned entities to resolve open balances across multiple fiscal years.
• Prepare audit schedules from the auditor’s request list and assist with auditor questions.
• Pull reports, trace transactions, and use Bisan’s GL, banking, fixed asset, and reporting functions.
• Demonstrate journal-entry processes to client staff and support their use of Bisan.
