Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to design and operate the AWS serverless infrastructure behind products used by millions of users. This hands-on role shapes how the platform runs and scales on AWS, from infrastructure as code to container orchestration.

You will own features end to end, work with Python, AWS, and data stores like PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, and collaborate in a 100% remote, globally distributed team with flexible hours and a strong growth culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong proficiency in Python.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities
