Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Principal Architect to design and govern enterprise-scale cloud strategies across multi-region environments. You will serve as the technical authority for cloud standards, ensuring resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructures supporting global operations.

In this 100% remote role, you will define governance, drive FinOps and cost optimization, collaborate with executives and engineering, and shape multi-cloud roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering.
• Expertise designing enterprise-scale cloud architectures across multi-region and multi-account environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud governance, FinOps, and cost optimization.
• Experience implementing the AWS Well-Architected Framework or similar cloud standards.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee the deployment of highly available, multi-region cloud infrastructures to support global operations.
• Define and implement enterprise-wide governance frameworks and cloud standards to ensure architectural consistency.
• Drive FinOps initiatives and cost optimization strategies to maximize the business value of cloud investments.
• Apply the Well-Architected Framework and industry best practices to improve system reliability and security posture.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and engineering teams to align technical roadmaps with overarching business objectives.
