Caylent is seeking a Principal Data Architect with deep Databricks expertise to lead high-visibility data platform engagements for enterprise clients. You will define guardrails and standards to keep a growing Databricks platform governable at scale while hands-on delivering first priority use cases and guiding clients toward self-service.

You will own the use-case side of Databricks enablement, coach client engineers, and collaborate with platform teams to ensure scalable, well-governed data

Formación

• 10 years of experience designing and building complex data systems.
• Proficiency with relational data design and data modeling for transactional and analytics use cases.
• Deep Databricks expertise including Unity Catalog and lakehouse design patterns.
• Hands-on experience embedding with client teams and delivering with self-service maturity.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and Python analytics.

Responsabilidades

• Define strategic roadmaps and Databricks adoption plans for clients in a consultative capacity.
• Embed with client teams to implement high-priority use cases hands-on and transition to self-service.
• Translate client needs into concrete feature requests and guardrail requirements for the platform.
• Act as a data engineering SME in pre-sales and scoping conversations.
• Coach client architects and engineers on best practices, patterns, and self-service tooling.
• Oversee data standards, semantic/lineage layers, and governance as adoption scales across units.
