Job summary

Avature is hiring for a Technical Leader based in Argentina across La Plata, Bahía Blanca, CABA, Córdoba, Rosario, or Mendoza. The role leads engineering teams, shaping technical roadmaps and ensuring code quality across a feature-rich enterprise SaaS platform used by thousands daily.

The position emphasizes ownership, strong OOP skills, architecture, and performance, with mentoring, Linux familiarity, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong background in OOP, architecture, performance, and efficiency.
• Mentoring and leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of Unix, preferably Linux.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work and staying up to date with emerging AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Achieve a rounded knowledge of our platform by understanding the complex interaction of a wide range of areas and services, from network layer to final user.
• Own and be responsible for your team’s code quality, including reliability, security, performance, scalability, maintainability, and alignment with design standards.
• Take an active role in your team’s development in collaboration with the team manager.
• Align your team in a vision for the set of modules, products, or applications within its scope.
• Have a vision of the team’s ideal design and plan a technical roadmap to get there.
• Ensure that the technical roadmap is followed and monitor the production environment.
• Help your team navigate tradeoffs between functional and non-functional requirements (security, performance, maintainability, etc.).
• Proactively plan the team’s code design.
• See to the technical side of day-to-day work, ensuring that technical analysis and code reviews are performed, among other tasks.
• Coach team members on the technical aspects of their activities.
