Job summary

Félix is building a cross-border financial platform for Latinos in the US, with remittance as the first product and a path to more financial services. We seek a senior product leader to own the orchestration layer and drive platform reliability via API contracts, idempotency, and scalable workflows.

You will collaborate with operations, compliance and finance, shaping architecture and contracts while delivering measurable platform improvements and multi-product readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management with at least 3 years owning a platform, infrastructure, API, or backend product for engineering teams.
• Strong grounding in distributed-systems concepts: asynchronous processing and failure modes of long-running workflows.
• Payments, remittance, banking, ledger or transaction-processing experience.
• Exceptional written communication; specs and contracts as primary references.
• Data-driven with ability to investigate dashboards and anomalies.
• Ability to push back with rationale to stakeholders when needed.

Responsibilities

• Define platform boundaries, primitives, and non-goals for the orchestration layer.
• Own sequencing and migration approach for multi-product evolution on remittance.
• Define contracts, workflow interfaces, idempotency, retry/compensation, timeouts and state visibility.
• Lead roadmap and delivery for the platform engineering team and measure key metrics.
• Represent platform to operations, compliance and finance; collaborate on architecture decisions.
