AgileEngine is seeking a Platform Engineer to design and scale core infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes, enabling rapid company growth. You will design reliable platform services and collaborate with engineering and data science teams to keep systems performant and secure.

The role involves distributed architecture and AI-native tooling familiarity. You will own critical components, work with service boundaries and security practices, and help drive efficiency across cloud resources while

Qualifications

• 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year of API design and development using REST/gRPC.
• 1+ year of experience with AWS and Kubernetes, including service mesh technologies such as Istio/Linkerd/Cilium.
• 1+ year of experience building advanced architectural components such as service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, polyglot persistence.
• 6+ months of experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills and a desire for ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services to support company growth.
• Measure, monitor, and optimize system performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Manage cloud resources and service boundaries, ensuring security and operational excellence.
• Implement best practices, methodologies, and tools to optimize development processes.
• Communicate with stakeholders, including senior leadership, on project status, risks, and issues.
