Job summary

TrueML is seeking a DevOps Engineer I to join the Platform Operations team in a cloud-native environment. You will help evolve our internal developer platform and IaC architecture, focusing on building infrastructure with Terraform and AWS and enhancing CI/CD workflows.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in DevOps/SRE, knowledge of Python/Go/Bash, and familiarity with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. This is a foundational role emphasizing learning and on-call support.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of DevOps, SRE, or software engineering experience.
• Familiar with at least one programming language (Python/Go/Bash) and basic SDLC practices.
• General knowledge of cloud engineering (AWS) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Build small to medium infrastructure components using Terraform and AWS.
• Maintain and debug CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) for reliable builds and deployments.
• Troubleshoot containerized environments, including Kubernetes pods and EKS networking.
• Use AI code assistants to accelerate onboarding and automate tasks.
• Validate AI-generated code for correctness and style per team standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to system alerts.
• Use logging/observability tools for troubleshooting.
• Test and document code across dev, staging, production environments.
• Participate in sprint planning and daily standups.
• Communicate progress and implementation details to the team.
