Job summary

Redtree LATAM is seeking a skilled Piping 3D Modeler to develop and coordinate piping design models for large-scale power generation and industrial projects across the U.S. market.

The role supports hybrid work arrangements across Montevideo, Buenos Aires or Santiago with English communications in daily interactions. The candidate will work closely with piping designers, engineers and project teams to ensure models are accurate and aligned with project requirements, contributing to international

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in piping 3D modeling.
• Advanced English level required for meetings and documentation.
• Experience supporting power generation or industrial projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks.
• Ability to read P&IDs and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and collaboration in distributed teams.
• Technical background; engineering degree not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D piping models for power generation and industrial projects.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to support project execution and deliverables.
• Interpret and work from P&IDs, engineering drawings, and design documentation.
• Perform model coordination activities and support clash detection reviews.
• Ensure model quality, accuracy, and compliance with project standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and coordination meetings.
• Support the continuous improvement of modeling and coordination workflows.
