Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adults and geriatrics. The role involves supervising patients and rehabilitation staff, aligned with state practice acts and Mercy standards.

Responsibilities include implementing individualized plans, ensuring licensure, and delivering high-quality care in a full-time clinic setting at Mercy - NWA Clinic Sugar Creek.

Formación

• Current state license to practice Physical Therapy.
• Academic degree: Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current or temporary licensure in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required and current.

Responsabilidades

• Perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Maintain Mercy Service Standards and contribute to a patient-centered care team.

Education:

Current State license of Physical Therapy. Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Licensure:

Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.

Certifications:

BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.

Preferred Experience:

Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
