Qualifications

• 8+ years building and delivering production software.
• Experience leading or mentoring small engineering teams.

• Hands-on with AI-native development tools and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain engineering culture and collaboration standards.
• Set technical standards for quality, maintainability, and reliability.
• Champion AI-native practices and responsible use of AI tools.
• Provide mentorship to a four-person development team across time zones.
• Guide architectural decisions to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Review AI-assisted workflows and ensure production readiness.
• Define development processes, conventions, and review practices.
• Foster knowledge sharing and accountability among distributed developers.
• Collaborate with leadership to own engineering culture and team growth.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and AI adoption.
