A Day In The Life

As the Paid Advertising Strategist, you are responsible for owning the execution, performance, and growth of campaigns within your book of business. You are oriented toward the clients’ business success, tied to broader business goals. You are self-started and autonomously own your responsibilities. You work with account leadership to ideate and evolve the strategy of your service within the broader media mix. You are responsible for owning reporting, optimizations, client communication, and execution of keyword research, ad copy development, bid optimizations, and routine campaign management, sometimes with support from a Specialist. You provide insights and forward-thinking strategy to clients and have a strong understanding of your service’s strategy and levers to drive performance.

Responsibilities
  • Full ownership and execution of performance marketing via paid social & paid media native platforms: Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, YouTube Ads, Bing Ads.
  • Execute builds and production A-Z with redundancy across channels; coordinate with Specialists as applicable.
  • Lead optimizations to improve performance relative to goals.
  • Manage all client budgets and advise on changes based on expertise.
  • Own strategic internal communication for client teams; proactive updates on performance and strategy; coordinate with Specialists as needed.
  • Provide weekly client progress recaps with performance insights and future recommendations.
  • Demonstrate marketing and business strategy acumen; understand the full marketing funnel and how to execute via paid channels.
  • Apply eCommerce and lead generation knowledge; adapt strategy to changing conditions.
  • Own performance reporting from end-to-end with strong presentation capability.
  • Tell data-driven stories to clients and stakeholders with clear next steps.
  • Leverage AI technologies to enhance and optimize processes; utilize Power Digital’s Nova ecosystem in the department.
Role Requirements
  • 2-3 years of digital marketing experience; 1-2 years in an agency setting.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Direct Response marketing in E-Commerce, Lead Gen or B2B.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Meta Ads for direct response campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with Search Engine Marketing; campaign development and optimization (bid optimization, keyword research, ad copy).
  • Significant campaign management experience in: Performance Max, Standard Shopping, YouTube Ads, Display Advertising, Local campaigns & Bing Ads.
  • Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office; Google Analytics understanding.
  • Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing and paid media’s role; knowledge of the eCommerce/lead gen model.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; organizational and project management skills; self-motivated with a drive to succeed; ability to learn quickly and independently.
  • Interest in a long-lasting relationship with a growing company.

$9.5k team-member EBITA; Maintain below 10% Client Churn Rate; 5-7 Accounts.
