Job description

EPIC PREP is looking for experienced online tutors for the IB Diploma Programme in Maths & Physics or Chemistry & Biology!

Our students are mainly based in Spain, but you can teach from anywhere in Argentina. Classes are taught in Spanish.

Why work with EPIC PREP?

• Remote work: Teach from wherever you like. All you need is a quiet room and a stable internet connection.
• Flexible schedule: We know independent professionals value freedom and flexibility. You set your own schedule and accept the courses and hours that suit you best. Most classes take place after students finish school in Spain, which is around 12:00–18:00 Argentina time (11:00–17:00 from April to October). During some periods, such as summer or exam resit season, morning (Spain time) classes may also be available.
• Classes: One-to-one, 1 to 2 hours long.
• State-of-the-art e-campus platform: No need to use your personal Google Drive or Zoom account. Our own platform gives teachers and students everything they need to get the best results.
• Materials included: We provide all class materials and homework activities, with a clear course plan to follow lesson by lesson.
• Automated homework marking: Homework quizzes are marked by AI. You just review and approve them.
• Efficient admin team: You won’t have to schedule classes or deal with parents. Our admin team takes care of that.
• Training: You’ll be trained in our methodology, processes and platform.
• Contract type: Freelance.

We are hiring tutors for the following subjects:

• Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches SL & HL
• Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation SL & HL
• Physics SL/HL
• Chemistry SL/HL
• Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS) SL/HL

Candidates who can teach two of these subjects are especially welcome.

• A completed university degree, preferably in the subject you want to teach. Degrees still in progress are not accepted, but candidates currently studying a Master’s or PhD are welcome.
• Native to C1 level Spanish
• Native to B2 level English
• Experience tutoring students aged 16–18, preferably in the IB Diploma Programme
