Alignerr is seeking a Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst (AI Training) to analyze and improve security datasets and real-world security controls in enterprise-like environments. This remote, hourly-contract role suits self-motivated professionals.

You'll review security incidents, label data for AI training, and report root causes with clear remediation steps, collaborating asynchronously with our team.

Formación

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security.
• Familiar with firewalls, EDR platforms, email security gateways, IAM systems, and SIEMs.
• Ability to explain complex security issues clearly in plain language.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently and asynchronously.

What You'll Do

• Analyze network, endpoint, and email security scenarios across modern enterprise environments
• Review firewall, EDR, and infrastructure security cases to identify what went wrong, why, and what the business impact was
• Classify incidents, misconfigurations, and control failures based on real operational data
• Create, label, and validate security training and evaluation datasets used to improve AI systems
• Clearly articulate root causes, attacker techniques, and defensive gaps in a structured format

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security
• Familiar with firewalls, EDR platforms, email security gateways, IAM systems, and SIEMs
• Strong understanding of how security controls are deployed and operated in real enterprise environments
• Able to explain complex security issues clearly — root causes, business impact, and remediation — in plain language
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently and asynchronously

Nice to Have

• Experience in threat hunting, incident response, or red/blue team operations
• Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) or hybrid enterprise environments
• Background in writing security documentation, post-mortems, or runbooks
• Prior experience working with AI or data labeling workflows
