Job summary

Producers Rice Mill is seeking a Safety Sensitive Sanitation Technician to clean and sanitize equipment in the mill areas using dry cleaning with compressed air and sweeping. You will maintain sanitation records and follow defined routines.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., with overtime including evenings and weekends as needed; must meet safety and food safety standards and be able to operate a man-lift after training.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Must possess basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs. periodically.
• Capable of climbing up to 30 feet as needed.
• Able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn throughout the day.
• Tolerate hot and cold temperatures for extended periods.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Willing to be trained to use a man-lift.
• Willing to wear PPE and follow safety rules.
