Walmart is seeking a Merchant to develop and execute category strategies that align with long-term objectives. You will oversee financial management, supplier negotiations, and channel strategies to optimize profitability and customer experience across platforms.

You will lead a team to deliver excellence, leverage data insights, and collaborate cross-functionally on assortment, pricing, and promotions while ensuring policy compliance and building a high-performing team.

Role summary: The (USA) Merchant is responsible for developing and executing category strategies that align with long-term business objectives. This role oversees financial management, supplier negotiations, and channel strategies to optimize profitability and customer experience across multiple platforms. The Merchant leads a team to deliver operational excellence, leveraging data insights to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement. By collaborating cross-functionally, this position ensures effective assortment, pricing, and promotional execution while maintaining compliance with company policies and fostering a high-performing, engaged team environment.

• Effective decision-making skills supporting pricing, promotions, and assortment strategies.
