Who we are
AvantStay delivers world class, authentic, tech-enabled short-term rental (“STR”) group experiences targeted at the millennial generation. We are venture funded and growing rapidly in the explosive $100+ billion dollar STR industry. We deliver a customized end-to-end experience that is tailored just for groups and powered with technology at every layer.
What we are looking for
We're hiring a Marketing Associate to support day-to-day execution across AvantStay's brand, social, and distribution channels. You'll sit at the intersection of creative storytelling and performance: helping our homes reach the right guests on the right platforms, keeping our brand voice consistent across every touchpoint, and using AI to move faster than a traditional marketing team ever could. This is a generalist role built for someone who wants broad exposure across a modern hospitality marketing stack and thrives in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.
What you'll do
- Support social media strategy and execution across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms. Responsibilities will include content calendars, captions, community management, and performance reporting
- Help maintain brand consistency across owned channels, partner co-marketing, listing pages, and paid campaigns, ensuring every guest touchpoint reflects AvantStay's premium positioning
- Assist with channel distribution marketing across Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, and direct booking: optimizing listings, merchandising featured homes, and coordinating promotional placements
- Use AI tools to accelerate copywriting, ideation, image generation, research, and reporting workflows
- Coordinate with design, content, and performance marketing teammates on campaign launches tied to seasonal travel moments, new destination launches, and collections
- Pull and synthesize performance data from social, email, and distribution partners into clear weekly and monthly recaps
- Support influencer, PR, and partnership outreach, including briefs, contracts, and asset delivery
- Keep our asset library, content database, and brand guidelines organized and up-to-date
What you'll bring
- 2+ years of marketing experience in the luxury hospitality and/or travel industry (hotels, resorts, vacation rentals, travel tech, luxury OTAs, or destination brands)
- Strong working knowledge of social media, both organic strategy and paid support, with a portfolio or examples of brand-appropriate content you've shipped
- Hands‑on experience with brand management: maintaining voice, visual consistency, and brand guidelines across multiple channels
- Exposure to channel distribution marketing, ideally Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Expedia, or comparable OTA/marketplace platforms
- Genuine comfort with AI tools as part of your daily workflow; you've moved past curiosity and actively use them to produce better work faster
- Strong project management instincts, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns in flight
