Werben HR in Buenos Aires is seeking an experienced mainframe developer to design, code, test, and debug legacy applications using COBOL, CICS, and JCL. You will work closely with system analysts and project managers to gather requirements and ensure reliable performance.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, performing testing across unit, system, and integration layers, and contributing to SDLC activities. Availability to work onsite in Martinez or Microcentro is required.

Formación

• Proficiency in mainframe programming languages (e.g., COBOL, JCL, DB2), and familiarity with mainframe tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues effectively.
• Previous experience in mainframe development or a related field is often required, with specific experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) being advantageous.
